  • This foliose to subcrustose lichen can be identified at any time of the year, although expert confirmation of the identity of suspected new populations may be required.
  • This species is known only from Mount Cameron in north eastern Tasmania where it occurs on moist flat granite outcrops in dry sclerophyll forest.

Additional permits may also be required under other Acts or regulations to take, disturb or interfere with any form of wildlife or its products, (e.g. dens, nests, bones). This may also depend on the tenure of the land and other agreements relating to its management. ​​​​​
